In traditional Naked Robber fashion I’m here today to point out the obvious and discuss irrelevant observations about aged games and topics that nobody remembers or cares about.
I’ve been known to violently bitch and complain in the past about a number of things, usually Asian drivers or menstruating women but the classic series of RPG games known as Ultima (which were raped, pissed on and beaten to death as if featured in one of my favorite snuff films) is always a popular topic when I start drinking and throwing beer bottles against the wall.
EA Sports, It’s in the game but it costs extra
A short while back Electronic Arts released Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11. Playing a golf video game sounds about as fun as cramming my dink into a light socket, but somehow EA found a way to make this experience even less enjoyable. In fact, the way they’ve packaged this game with ‘new features’ makes me prostitute-stranglingly-angry.
Effed in the Eight
Shortly after the epic win known as Ultima 7, Origin Systems was put in an unavoidable situation and forced to sell its rights to Electronic Arts, a company infamous for consuming gaming studios far greater than their own and delivering steaming piles of shit covered in cancerous flies to the market year after year. Ultima 8 was the first game of the franchise built under EA’s regime and as a result this potentially great game suffered severely.
